School children in the UK maintain links with elderly members of their community during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Children from Washingborough Academy in the UK had been delivering school meals to elderly people as part of their local community work. In March 2020, the spread of Covid-19 led to unprecedented worldwide social distancing measures being put into place. Wanting to maintain links with their community even though they were unable to deliver food to homes, the school children decided to use Facetime to hold a socially distanced lunch with local resident, Anne.
