Children at the Waldorf School in Oslo learn all about keeping bees.

Bees are vitally important friends who pollinate our plants and the food we eat. They should be respected as extremely important organisms, that should be cared for and conserved to a much larger degree than we currently do today. Without the bees, the food on our tables would be extremely limited as around one third of our most common food products are dependent upon direct or indirect pollination by bees and other insects.
